During her career, Joanna has seen the negative impact of sleep deprivation on children and their families .Poor behaviour, hyperactivity and difficulty learning are just a few of the symptoms that children display with inadequate sleep.
Adults also experience low mood, diffculties at work and a multitiude of physical symptoms often mistaken for other medical conditions, if sleep is neglected.
This affects performance , health and wellbeing on a day to day basis.
It is for good reason that sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture!!
Sleep health is an emerging field and Joanna continues to keep up to date with the new research being published, passing this information onto her clients.
Joanna is passionate about her work and
finds informing and supporting her clients to make alterations that can be life changing, so rewarding.
